Including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) — facilitated by Carolyn & Anna
Supporting clients with dissociative experiences can feel complex, uncertain, and at times overwhelming — particularly when working with more complex presentations like DID.
This workshop offers a grounded, practical starting point. Drawing on their clinical experience, Carolyn and Anna guide you through key concepts in a way that feels accessible, safe, and immediately applicable in practice.
The focus is on building confidence — moving away from uncertainty and towards a steady, compassionate approach that prioritises stabilisation, safety, and therapeutic connection for both you and your client.
· · ·Six areas of focus across the day:
How to identify and understand dissociative processes when they appear in the therapy room.
Working responsibly with complex presentations — boundaries, pacing, and risk awareness.
Practical tools to support clients in building safety and internal stability.
Managing the therapeutic relationship when multiple parts or identities are present in session.
Maintaining your own stability and recognising your responses when working with dissociation.
Understanding how these experiences present in clients, and how to work with them therapeutically.
This workshop is designed as an accessible starting point. You don't need prior experience of working with dissociation to attend.
This workshop is led by Carolyn Fitzpatrick and Anna Noden — both experienced counsellors, business founders, and clinical supervisors. They bring honesty, warmth, and real-world clinical experience to their teaching.
